Terms of Service

These terms govern use of websites and software operated by GoGive Pty Ltd (“GoGive”, “we”, “us”), including gogive.com.au, charity.gogive.com.au, donor.gogive.com.au, and form.gogive.com.au (the “Site”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Message to donors

GoGive Pty Ltd, ABN 53 647 215 567, provides software that charities and non-profits (“Fundraisers”) use to collect donations. GoGive is not the charity. We do not control campaign content or how a Fundraiser spends gifts. A donation is a relationship between you and the Fundraiser. Do your own research before giving.

1. The Site and Services

The Services let Fundraisers take one-time, monthly, weekly, and yearly donations through a branded form, fundraising pages, peer-to-peer, and events; issue receipts (including DGR and Gift Aid records where eligible); and manage donors in a charity portal. Donors may use a donor portal to view history, receipts, and recurring plans. Payment is processed by Stripe, not by GoGive. We are not a bank, a charity, a professional fundraiser, or a fiduciary.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live). The Site is not directed at children under 13.

3. Fees

There is no platform fee on donations collected through the Services. Donors may leave an optional tip. Stripe’s processing fees apply. Fundraisers must not discourage donors from covering fees. Paid extensions, if any, are described separately in the product.

4. Stripe

Fundraisers must connect a Stripe account in the name of the organisation. Personal bank accounts are not permitted. Stripe’s terms apply to payouts, disputes, and identity checks.

5. Fundraiser responsibilities

Information you post must be accurate and not misleading under Australian Consumer Law. Donations must be used as described to donors. You are responsible for DGR status, ABN or UK charity number, Gift Aid eligibility, fundraising licences, and the content of emails you send. If you use communication features, you — not GoGive — must comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), UK PECR where it applies, and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

6. The Copilot

Staff-only tools may suggest branding, copy, campaigns, or next actions. Staff remain responsible for every publish and every send. The Copilot does not take payments and is not a donor-facing chatbot.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and Materials are owned by GoGive or its licensors. You may not copy them for a public or commercial purpose without written permission. You grant GoGive a licence to host content you upload in order to operate the Services.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Services are provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, GoGive is not liable for Fundraiser conduct, campaign outcomes, or Stripe outages. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

9. Changes
